Barn Conversion

Carmarthenshire

Historic barn conversion and extension

The conversion of this historic barn brings together the character of the original structure and the comfort of contemporary living. Design decisions throughout are guided by a sensitivity to the existing building, with an emphasis on vernacular materials and local craftsmanship. The main living spaces occupy the original footprint, and the proposed bedroom wing is positioned to create an intimate enclosed garden, framed by old stone walls and the shade of a mature oak tree.
