Coastal House Extension & Refurbishment

Located in Ferryside, this coastal residential extension was designed to make the most of its views across the River Tywi estuary and Ferryside Beach.

The clients wanted a more contemporary addition to the existing home, replacing the conservatory with a lightweight glazed extension and veranda. The existing timber balcony balustrades were removed and the glazing to the main living, dining and bedroom spaces was increased to celebrate the expansive views across the garden, estuary and beach beyond.

 

The glazed box projects beyond the existing opening, giving the extension a clean, minimal and frameless appearance.
