This project is about putting a building back at the heart of its street. Affordable and open-market apartments on the upper floors bring a mix of residents into the neighbourhood, while the restoration of the ground floor to its original  shopfront repairs the building's relationship with the street below. The aim is to bring back the layered activity that streets like this one were built around.
