Rural, Extension, Interior Design, Landscape Design​.

The brief for this project called for an extension to a small farmhouse cottage in rural Carmarthenshire that had become too small for the clients needs.

Extensions to either side of the existing house each take on a distinct character. The two storey element follows the traditional style of the existing house whilst the smaller side extension is clad in more agricultural materials (crinkly tin, timber cladding) to make a connection to the rural architectural landscape.

The use of light blue joinery and cladding help tie all three elements of this project together.
